Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of the level of achievement motivation of physical education students in higher education to the level of their physical fitness. The method used in this study is a correlational analysis of two variables between achievement motivation and the physical condition of the samples. The subjects in this study were 24 college students, males, and females. The instrument used to obtain motivational data for the samples was an achievement motivation questionnaire consisting of 38 questions, and the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) to measure the physical fitness level of the samples. Data analysis uses statistical software applications that aim to obtain descriptive and inferential results to be able to conclude quantitative research results. The results of this study indicate that there is an insignificant relationship between achievement motivation and self-confidence in the sample’s physical fitness in both males and females.Keywords: Achievement Motivation, Self Confidence, Physical Fitness, Physical Education, Sports Psychology.

Abstract

This study aims to see the self-awareness of Makassar City Football athletes through their ability to maintain physical condition ahead of the 17th Provincial Sports Week in 2022. This type of research is cross sectional. The population in this study were all athletes from Makassar City who took part in the 17th South Sulawesi Provincial Sports Week. While the sample in this study were athletes from the Makassar City football team who would take part in the South Sulawesi Provincial Sports Week, who were selected through a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was a physical condition test. The physical elements measured are flexibility, strength, coordination, power, muscle endurance, speed, agility, and general endurance. The results of the analysis show that 21 athletes fall into the good category with a percentage of 91.3 percent of the total sample. 3 samples are in the medium category with a percentage of 8.7 percent of the total sample. While there were no athletes who were in the very good category, the less category, or the very poor category. So, it can be concluded that based on the results of the research and discussion stated earlier, it can be concluded that "The self-awareness of the Makassar City Football Player athletes in facing the 17th Provincial Sports Week is at high self-awareness". This is evidenced by the physical condition of the players who are above average.Key words: Self Awareness, Football, Physical Condition

Abstract

The right motion learning model in physical education will improve the psychological aspects of the student's personality. however, different subjects and interventions should have different impacts. The purpose of this study is to review learning models in physical education that relate to the psychological aspects of students from elementary to high school. The method used is a systematic review, using secondary data from published journals. Data collection was carried out manually outside the database and with the help of access to the Google Scholar database. In searching the data, keywords that are relevant to the topic to be discussed are used. The keywords used were “psychological personality” AND “emotional” AND “mental” AND “social behavior” AND “physical education”. After that, an analysis will be carried out using a prisma flowchart diagram. The results of filtering data according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria are 20 national and indexed Sinta journals. Based on the results of the analysis of various models, the application of the outdoor physical education learning model and the cooperative model is more widely applied to junior high school students and above. Meanwhile, elementary schools apply more game-based learning. Therefore it is important for educators to know and understand the characteristics of each student for the selection of learning models so that it has a positive impact on aspects of the psychological personality of students.Key words: Learning Model, Physical Education, Personality Psychology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and examine the description of the physical condition that has components which are strength, agility and reaction speed as well as basic service and drive technical skills possessed by table tennis athletes in Table Tennis Federation of Malang City. This research is a quantitative descriptive type and uses an observational test approach. The population was 55 people and the sampling used a purposive proportionate random sampling technique with a portion of 90% of 55 people, a total sample of 50 people. Data collection uses measurement techniques in the form of physical condition tests and sports skills tests. The results obtained in the components of agility, arm muscle strength, reaction speed, as well as basic drive technical skill were in the "enough" category, the dominant arm muscle strength component is "sufficient", the dominant reaction speed component is "enough", the basic dominant technique skills are "insufficient", and the basic dominant drive technique skills are "enough". The conclusion of the research results indicated that each component of physical condition obtained a “satisfactory” category whereas the basic technical skills mostlyobtained a “satisfactory” category. Keywords: Physical condition, strength, agility, reaction speed, serve, drive.

Abstract

Physical activity has various benefits, especially for health because it can prevent degenerative diseases and other non-communicable diseases. The level of physical activity is also in line with the level of physical fitness and this is very important for students to be able to carry out good learning activities and ultimately affect the learning outcomes and achievements achieved. The existence of reports of cases of new sub-variant COVID infection indicates that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over and demands adaptation to new restrictions in daily activities that we know as the new normal. This also has an impact on the physical activity carried out by the community, especially students. The purpose of this study was to describe the physical activity of students in medical faculty at Pasundan University in the new normal era. Quantitative descriptive survey method was used in this study with A total of 149 students became participants.. The instrument used to measure physical activity is the International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form (IPAQ-SF). Descriptive analysis is used as an analytical technique in interpreting data. The results of this study showed that 68 students (45.7%) were included in the low physical activity category, then 64 students (42.9%) were in the medium physical activity category, and 17 students (11.4%) with high physical activity. The conclusion of this study is that the physical activity level of PSPD FK Unpas students in the new normal era as a whole is in the "low" category. These findings are expected to be used as evaluation material for students and institutions, considering that the level of physical activity is an important component related to health.Key words: physical activity level, medical students, new normal, IPAQ-SF

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the physical fitness aspect of reaction speed in SMPN 1 Bangkalan students can be done online. In this research, the writer will use descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of SMPN 1 Bangkalan with a total of 30 people. This study used the Quota Sampling technique. The research instrument used in this study was the Ruler Drop Test which was carried out online. This instrument is used to measure aspects of physical fitness, speed of reaction in the eyes and hands. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation, of the 3 data collection techniques used because the implementation of this research was carried out online using video conferencing (zoom meeting, google meet, etc.). Based on the results of the research on the implementation of the online ruler drop test to measure the physical fitness aspects of SMPN 1 Bangkalan students on test 1 and test 2, it can be concluded that students who fall into the "Very Slow" category 0%, the "Slow" category 23%, on the test 1 and 0%, on test 2, category "Normal" 47%, on test 1 and 3%, on test 2, category "Fast" 30%, on test 1 and 70%, on test 2, category "Very Fast" 0%, in test 1 and 27% in test 2, so it can be interpreted that SMPN 1 Bangkalan students can do a ruler drop test to measure aspects of physical fitness, speed of reaction online during a pandemic. Abstract

In this era of globalization, the education system is an important matter that needs special attention, one of which is in Indonesia. This era of globalization also requires the ability that students need to have to develop their academic activities, namely learning and writing a work, whether in the form of poetry, rhymes, books, or scientific papers. That way, the ability to write must be possessed by everyone who is engaged in education, one of which is students. Research can be interpreted as a way to answer problems or questions by collecting data and formulating generalizations based on this data, especially regarding physical education. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of PJKR FIK Unimed students in writing scientific articles. This research method uses descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were PJKR FIK UNIMED students. The sample in this study were 2016-2022 PJKR FIK UNIMED students, namely 1,002 students who were still actively studying. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection method uses a survey method in the form of a questionnaire. Data from the results of the test instrument were processed using descriptive analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that 50% of PJKR FIK UNIMED students know about scientific journal articles and get materials related to scientific journal articles in lectures, but more than 50% do not know the steps for writing scientific journals until the publish stage.Key words: Analysis, Knowledge, Health Physical Education and Recreation, ScientificJournals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve collaboration skills and student learning outcomes in the basic motion combination material of walking, running, jumping, and throwing in class V.A. students at SDN 2 Loktabat Selatan. In this study, we used the class action research method (classroom action research) with the Kemmis and Taggart models (planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting). The subjects of the study were 14 students in class V.A. at SDN 2 Loktabat Selatan. Data collection instruments were tests (multiple choice) and non-tests (observations). The overall data is in the form of quantitative data, which is then analyzed descriptively using the percentage formula. The results showed an increase in collaboration skills and student learning outcomes from pre-cycle to cycle I. The value of pre-cycle collaboration skills increased by 37%, then increased by 93% in cycle I; the value of pre-cycle cognitive skills increased by 50%, then increased by 93% in cycle I; and the value of pre-cycle psychomotor skills increased by 100%. It can be concluded that by applying the Teams Games Tournament learning model, it can improve the collaboration skills and learning outcomes of students in class V.A. SDN 2 Loktabat Selatan through the combination of basic motions of walking, running, jumping, and throwing..Key words: Collaboration Skills, Learning Outcomes, Teams Games Tournament

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between motor skills and body composition, cardiorespiration, muscle strength and muscle endurance. This literature review method was carried out by researchers to collect articles based on inclusion criteria using the Google Scholar, PubMed and ScienceDirect databases. The process of searching for articles was carried out based on inclusion criteria consisting of research articles, published articles for 4 years, articles that have been indexed by Scopus (Q1-Q4), and a sample consisting of elementary school students. Articles that have been obtained from 3 databases, will then be selected at the article identification stage, the researcher finds 260 articles from Google Scholar, 43 articles from PubMed and 255 articles from ScienceDirect, at the duplication stage, 4 similar articles are found out of 554 articles that have been collected. In the filtering stage, the researcher analyzed by placing limits on titles and keywords so that they issued 526 articles and found 28 articles. The feasibility process was carried out to select 28 articles with limitations on journal qualifications, research variables and methods used, resulting in 19 articles and 9 articles being tested at the quantitative synthesis stage. At the inclusion stage, the researcher conducted a selection at the final stage by finding 9 articles that matched the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis of the articles that have been carried out, there are 8 articles in total that have a relationship between motor skills and body composition, cardiorespiration, muscle strength and muscle endurance, while 1 article has no relationship between motor skills and body composition. The conclusion of the study showed that there was a relationship between motor skills and body composition, motor skills and cardiorespiratory, motor skills and muscle strength, and motor skills and muscle endurance. Key words: Motor Skills and Health Related Fitness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of frog jumping and skipping exercises on the results of the long jump squat style of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lintang Kanan. The research method in this study is an experimental method. The research design used is the modified pre-test – post-test group design. The data collection technique in the study used the long jump test. The results of the study on the significance of the pre-test and post-test of frog jumping and skipping exercises on the results of long jump and squat class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Lintang Kanan were calculated with a t-test with data criteria said to be significant if the calculation ≥ ttabel. From the calculation results, it is known that the calculation of 10.44 The result was then consulted with a ttable of 1.76 (α = 0.05). It showed that the calculation ≥ ttabel, 10.44 ≥ 1.76 (significant). Meanwhile, the significance level of pre-test and post-test skipping is known that the calculation is 10.58. The results were then consulted with a ttable of 1.76 (α = 0.05) It showed that the calculation of the ≥ ttabel, 10.58 ≥ 1.76 (significant). The effectiveness of frog jumping and skipping exercises is not far apart, namely the frog jumping exercise method is able to increase by 4.84% while skipping is able to increase by 4.54%. Based on these results, it can be stated that there is an effect of the skipping method on the long jump squat style results of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lintang Kanan.Key words: Leap Frog, Skipping, Long jump
